While all of our tests were conducted under Windows Vista 64-bit, we decided to run a few tests using Windows XP to see the difference it would make.
As the old story tells, games will run better in XP, and Enemy Territory : Quake Wars is no exception. While the margins were not earth-shattering (for which you may also want to feel proud of the advancement on Vista's drivers), it is still disappointing to find a DX9 game running slower in Microsoft's latest operating system.
