    i have a 320gb hard disk . it had windows vista --220gb
    ubuntu ---100gb
then i formatted it to install vista i lost my ubuntu . and during the format options that 100gb space wasnt shown . then i installed vista and ubuntu ultimate all within 220gb. now the 100gb is undetected. i think this is happening because while formatting initially , vista isnt able to recognise ext 3 partition. i would want to recover and use the space , i have vista and ubuntu ultimate 9.04 installed.i tried disk management in vista.bbut it hasnt detected it .

please could you guide me what is to be done.thank you in advance for taking ur time :)
