Nothing too exciting, but the 64-bit support is definitely long overdue.

Flash Square 64 bit updated is a long time coming. Running any Adobe release for 8 months without an update or fix is a concern, considering all the security holes that are being constantly plugged with fixes and or updates.

Native 64-bit support is much appreciated. My newest PC runs Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit and this latest flash player release should provide performance boosts to the system.

  8. What are the benefits of the 64 bit version? Does the browser need to be 64 bit too?

  9. Looking forward to the day when adobe flash gets flushed.

They are everything bad there is about the internet in terms of security and reliability.

HTML5 is the way to go.

Most likely not as the adobe engine runs as a separate plugin different from the browser.

  11. I don't care for the constant updates, but I never had any security issues I know of (with Net porn vids!), but remember Adobe's Flash is really just good ole Macromedia. I got the various Adobe installers saved for setting up earlier Windows disk systems I refurbish.

  12. Flash 11 is cool, it's the future (look at 3D features!).

  13. WWwwoOOowwWW !!! 64bit flash for linux!!
now they just need to fix it so I dont have to press the reset button everytime i try to watch a flash video.

  14. The significant additions in the Adobe 64 BitFlash 11 Beta are as follows :(1) the new Stage 3D API (2) better encoding for high definition h 264 content (3) enables faster video chatting with better quality on PC’s equipped with HD Webcams.
