Advent 7039 getting too bot and shutting down

I note that some of you are knowledgeable about the advent 7039 laptop.

I have an advent 7039 laptop that runs often as hot as 80-86 and sometimes at 40-50. Occasionally it will reach 91 and crash, I am aware the athlon 64 chip has a thermal cut off built into it.

The (in) air vent near the screen was blocked, I cleaned the holes but the machine still gets too hot.

Is there any manual for getting insde the computer? or can someone explain to me how it is done?

Thanks very much

I found this info:

'The 7039 is basically a rebadged Medion WAD2000 so you can also download the drivers and user manual from the Medion website. To find the correct drivers for your laptop search using the 5-digit MD number printed underneath your laptop.'

http://www.uktsupport.co.uk/advent/laptop/7039.htm

Thus, start some searching using that 5 digit number.

edit: actuallly, I found that too: http://www.w00tw00t.co.uk/support/viewtopic.php?t=390

MD-41086

That last site may be the place to ask - a board just for those comps.
