Inactive All my programs keep closing

Hi
I have a hp compaq with a windows xp operating system. I know that there is hardly any ram left although until now I have had no problems. I cannot open any programs at all. Even when I open antivirus it closes again so I can't do any scans.

Please help, I am not a techy person so please talk simply. The only reason I'm in this thread is because I think that it is a virus

Also it comes up with
The exception unknown software exception(0xc000000d) occurred in the application at location 0x100406da.
Also something comes up about Akamai requesting to close in an unusual way

Also, include this scan:

Download AdwCleaner by Xplode onto your Desktop.

• Double click on AdwCleaner.exe to run the tool.
• Click on Delete.
• A logfile will automatically open after the scan has finished.
• Please post the content of that logfile in your reply.
• You can find the logfile at C:\AdwCleaner[Rn].txt as well - n is the order number.
