It seems the "Just for Russian market" HD 6750 and 6770 (rebranded 5750 and 5770) are now going worldwide.
Just a note for owners of 5750's and 5770's:
It would seem that once the 6750 and 6770 hits retail, it should be easy enough to source their BIOS's. Any interested 5750/5770 owner should be able to flash their BIOS and gain HDMI 1.4a (3-D) and UVD3 functionality that is presently lacking from the 5750/5770. A firmware update is all that seperates the 5750/5770 from 6750/6770.
I would hope that AMD's card partners would make firmware available to owners of 5750/5770, since many of these cards would have been sold with the intent of being used as dual purpose (gaming/HTPC) cards, the added HDMI 1.4a/UVD3 functionality would no doubt be very welcome
Just a note to Nvidia fanboys:
Don't go there...Just don't. Yes it's a rebrand. Word of caution... 8800GT=9800GT, 8800GS =9600GSO, 9800GTX+ = GTS250....and many more
Just a note to AMD fanboys:
Ditto.
(X1900XTX = X1950XT,X1300XT = X1650Pro, X300 = X1050, HD 5550 = HD 6390...and many more)
