AMD intros two notebook platforms, Tigris and Congo

  1. AMD has launched two new notebook platforms, Tigris and Congo. The Sunnyvale-based chipmaker is calling Tigris a mainstream notebook platform aimed at those interested in using multimedia applications or 3D gaming, and it has already been picked up by eight OEMs. Congo is AMD's second-generation ultrathin platform.

  2. WOW, i can't wait untill i buy one of these new 45nm Laptop machines with good HD ability. I bet the prices will be really fair too, since its going to be an AMD machine!
