Clear picture - tv out

hey, i cant seem to get a clear pic when i hook up RGB tv out on my nvidia 6600 OC, pci-e. im fairly sure theres an option i have to turn on and whatnot, but im not sure what it is - so far all ive tried is force tv detection and that doesnt work. thanks for help in advance!

To open Display, click Start, click Control Panel, click Appearance and Themes, and then click Display.

Selecting the Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor check box allows you to drag items across your screen onto alternate monitors.

Or, you can resize a window to stretch it across more than one monitor.

that is a simple solution from microsoft.com's website.

also, in the nvidia control panel, there are various options. clone, dual view, etc... i am using an ati card so i forget them all lol. post here when you try something else to keep us updated.
