CS 1.6 how to skin

hey all. i'm trying to skin my cs 1.6 guns. not to sure how to do it since i stopped cs a couple years ago.
i tried extracting all the files except for the picture and readme file into
drive c
sierra
counter-strike
cstrike
then i jus clicked on models and sed extract.

if u no how to extract and skin ne cs guns and such jus try n reply 2 me. or jus if u have ne suggestions or no wut i'm doing rong tell me
