    Like I said, is India uses a different voltage, then you may need to find some kind of adapter.

    For your keyboard settings, do the following.

    Assuming you want UK settings. Click start/control panel/Regional and Language Options/Languages/Details.

    Make sure the everything is set to UK. Click apply/ok.

    Oh I see.

    I`ve never used a laptop, save once or twice, so I don`t reallly know anything about them. Let alone being able to recommend one.

    I think it`d be better for you to open a new thread in our Mobile Computing forum(if you haven`t already).
