Volume has no effect on percentage. Yes there are more games being released now - that only makes my point more obvious.

And volume has a lot to do with %'s. 2% of 1000000 is a lot, where 2% of 10 is not. Saying 2% of games are this depends on the volume on if that is a lot. %'s are very easy to manipulate to tell any story you want.
*EDIT* Steam users try to do this to tell a story all the time with "recent reviews". They be like recent reviews show this game sucks but recent reviews are like 2% of the reviews so is that an accurate representation of the game?
