Error Report when using Pinnacle Studio Plus 9

When I pull up video clips, resize, play edited video with Pinnacle Studio Plus v9.4 my system always generates and error report and then shuts down the program. I've just recently upgraded my graphics card from a ATI Radeon 9250 to an ATI Radeon X700A in the hope of fixing it, but it hasn't changed a thing!!

My system specs are:
AMD Athlon64 3000 (1.8 Gh)
Gigabyte GA-K8NS-939 mother brd
1 Gb of ram
150 Gb of free mem
ATI Radeon X700A, AGP, 256mb

Can anyone tell me why this is happening?

it is possible that you have an overheating problem, or that your power supply is balking under the load. try running the pc with the side panel off the case and see if the problem persists. also, what are the specs of your power supply.

your other actions are to update the pinnacle program, and the chipset, video, and sound drivers for your machine. these can be found on thier respective mfg's websites.
