Sadly, no. Our powers don't stretch to numbers and titles. We're close though "shhhhhh!". (but not as close as SNGX, or the database administrator, or the staff, or....)

Second thoughts, Howards explanation was better.

Man you two post so much.
When i post that much, can i do that?

(Howard) I'll try your advise tommorow, for today i was busy.

Send me a virus or something with your administrative powers.

Excellent. I`ll be waiting for your HJT log lol.

I wouldn`t want to send you a virus. Hell, I spend most of my time here helping people get rid of the damn things.

    Regards Howard :)

Speaking quite honestly and modestly here for a moment - these have to be my first few truly meaningless posts in a row in my entire Techspot "career". I'm going to have to stop it for now, lest I taint my post count :)

I'm afraid the editing of other peoples posts is only for moderators, but stick around and post useful quality stuff for a year or two, and you should start moving up the ranks a little. Of course, spend all of your time in this thread and... :)

    LOL Howard :D

Instead of a Virus, I thought I`d send you this

No we don`t get paid. We do it because we love Techspot.

Judging by your post in the security and the web forum, you`ve already got a virus lol.

    Regards Howard :)

You have to be asked to be a mod. Post count has absolutely nothing to do with it.

Oooh. I forgot about the time zones!!! lol

It's 0735 here - and the air is damp, the sun is shining from behind it all, and I'm desperately waiting for a nice thunderstorm to cool it all down a little. Just by coincidence, (nothing to do with the weather of course), there may be one on the way later.

Ohh, well its dark and quite warm here, about 80 degrees Farenheight. We had quite a bad storm earlier today at about 530PM with hail, high winds, and a few spots even got hit by tornados.

Well thats the midwest for ya, never know what the weather gonna do. One minute its nice and sunny, the next minute your getting pounded with rain

Happy July 4th everyone !!!!!This day in history, England allowed America to have their independence :grinthumb

LOL Peddant. I have to say, I never learned that one back in my Schooldays. I thought that happened in 1944 when we accepted a loan agreement with the US that destroyed the UK as the dominant world economy :)

So, if July 4th is independance day, when is thanksgiving? I seem to keep getting the two dates confused.

This thread is actually too meaningless to post in.

    :knock: :haha:
btw Spike I'm sure thanksgiving is when you thank them for the terrible events of the 4th of July, when England ceased to be a world power :p

I`ve just edited my post Spike for reasons of historical accuracy.

Of course America didn`t take over the World 230 years ago,but the seeds were sown then.:)

    As for Thanksgiving,that`s February 17th
  23. Spike

Spike Newcomer, in training Posts: 2,371

It's not meaningless. Its fun and sociable. lol

I have to say for historical accuracy though, that prior to the end of WW2, the Pound was the dominant currency, and London was the center of all economy in the world. Post WW2, it was the Dollar and Wall Street. We were doing fine untill we were nearly wiped out by Hitler, but after that we were pretty much in trouble, and the US bailed us out - but only at such a price that kept us down while the US economy took over.

If the seeds were sewn 230 years ago, I have to say, it sure took them long enough! lol :p :D

The longer the seed germinates, the more beautiful the flower.

BTW, good mornin' Spikey old boy.....and Happy Independence Day everybody! Beautiful, sunny morning over here, a balmy 70 degrees F and seems like the perfect time to jump into a thread like this....after all, I've the day off. :approve:

    BTW, 10:15AM at the moment.
