General Banter/Discussion #1

I thought I`d give this thread a bump, just to increase my post count lol.

Looks like I`m going to the dogs. What do you say Spike?

Regards Howard

*walking through the streets of threads at TS..*
"Hmm.. this looks interesting.."
*opens door, two puppied eyed dogs appear*
"Ah, Hiya there!"
*pats them on the head, looks up*

"Yer...?"
*dog grins sharply*
"Oo.. what nice sharp teeth you have......"
*Bolts away, not waiting for the answer...*

:D Jokes...

Did I miss something here? What's with this dog thing? I mean I know and understand the expression 'going to the dogs', but the little narrative and the beware of dogs sign? What is all this about?

I move to change the subject to robots, or failing that, perhaps a compromise to robotic dogs.

It`s just a general banter, discussion thread, as the title suggests.

As long as it stays clean, anything can be discussed and probably will be lol.

The dog thing was started by me because Spike was looking for a new avatar. I offered him the Dalmation and called it Spike. The rest is just nonsense really.

Regards Howard :)

Second that.. just a little attempt at some.. restrained narrative.. i guess it all those garfield comics i was reading at the time..

Robots...?

Hmm...old thread...*feels urge to bump*...ahhh...*bumps thread*...*feels better*...:giddy: :D

I`m glad to hear you`re feeling better now. :p

To be quite honest, I`d kind of forgot about this thread. ;)

Unsubtle use of smilies by Howard. :)

Well I just spent the entire day at a Microsoft Across America Event, I attended the Partner Track which involved talk on Vista, Office 2007, something I didn't pay any attention to, and Exchange Server.

Goalie (from here) was also at the event and attended 2 other sessions. I don't want to put him or myself on the spot because it might not happen, but there is a chance we'll toss together a writeup on what was presented and general information about the event.

Oh, so it was pretty close...hmmph...why can't Microsoft or any computer related company come to Boston for a chance ;) ?
