    Because if it is the sound card we could search for one that will work within your budget.

    Many people have experienced issues with Creative's sound drivers.

    Well i havent had a bsod with the sound in since the last time i said. i have the one gig of ram out and as long as i dnt watch movies on the external i ave no problems.. i still dont know what the problem is:L

    Okay, so what happens with both sticks in but the external harddrive is either not attached OR you don't watch movies on it?

    I'll try this ina minute. im after watching the movie with the ram out and the external pluged out and i got the bsod:( im pretty sure now its the sound.. ill borrow one of a friend and see if its any better:)

    If this is a single minidump file just attach as is to your next post. No need to zip 1 or 2 files; 3 to 5 then zip using the Manage Attachments options here at TechSpot.

    I am having trouble downlaoding from that link.

    yes but you see the file is too big apparently.

    A zip file should be able to compress it; are you getting this message when you are trying to use the Zip option?

    What are the error codes?

    i compressed it and it said invalid file:(
    seems like 0x8000000000000002
    in both of them

    i got 3 bsods one after the other this morning. i have the minidumps what do you want me to do with them?

    If you can attach in the next post. I'll read them. Please, if you can, refresh our memory. What have we done diagnostic wise concerning your memory?
