Help pls. Lost windows

    Lost hard drives.
    Windows xp pro.
    I ve recently acquired a sata drive "Maxtor S ATA 160 gig. My

    motherboard a Biostar M6VLQ, 338 Ram,one Ide Maxtor 20 gig. Since my

    motherboard did not have the sata controller i ve purchased a sata pci

    controller card.Went thru the Windows set up with F6 to install the

    sata drivers Sil3112_x86,since then nothing but problems, now i cant

    get in windows at all, reading on screen this:
    WIndows could not start because of a computer disk hardware

    configuration problem.
    Could not read from the selected boot disk.Check boot path and disk

    hardware.
    Please check the WIndows documentation about hardware disk

    configuration and yoru hardware reference manuals for addtional

    information.
    Anyone. please help.

    Look for the latest version of those sil3112 drivers, they are causing the problems.
