How do I make a game run faster on my PC?

  1. I have a Compaq computer,windows vista.I'm trying to play Crossfire(game you download of the internet), it will load but, the screen turns all white at first, then a while later the picture and sound works.How do I make it run faster?

    I know it is not a virous malware anything like that


    Help!

    You will probably have to install a PCI 3D capable video card in you Compaq computer

    No, it works, just takes a looooooong time to load.

    i know its a bit obvious

    but try killing all of the apps you arent using atm before loading up the game...

    and if its a browser based game try deleting you cookies,temporary internet files etc..

    this should help it load a bit faster.. the speed of your internet connection may also play a large role in this..
