    Dell inspiron 1501 password?

    purchased a used dell inspiron 1501' missing a keybord and face plate (part that has start button and name of latop) along with no powercord etc etc long story shorter' got those parts now new I need the system password and bios password' when I hit F2 it asks for password
    ? any help would be greatly apreciated' I am very computer illiterate'

    Do a search for the many password problems for Dell laptops on this forum... There are nearly 1000 of them. You may find it discouraging with that model.
    Best to send it back to Dell or to one of the experts in this forum for repair.
