pakoo you have now been asking this same question for two weeks
To avoid you continually posting well into the future, lets just be conclusive and say no he doesn't want to help you, or maybe he's waiting for 3 weeks, maybe 4

That's all now :) Best to leave and find other means.

All recovery options are here: http://www.techspot.com/vb/post610782-4.html
Anyone can contact Dell here: http://www.techspot.com/vb/topic100658.html
Anyone can contact HP here: http://www.techspot.com/vb/topic100655.html

If the above does not help you, then try Google for another option, as that is all there is ;)
Note: You can go to any external site and do as you wish, but I advise you to try all free options first, then shop around, obviously some 3rd party sites are way more expensive than others by hundreds of dollars more ! Therefore think before sending your money to some foreign country ie It may be cheaper to buy a used laptop in some cases.

TechSpot forum is only free and manufacture support, thankfully hundreds and hundreds of legitimate users have been helped here, and hopefully will continue to be helped.

Post once, try all options, then leave. No one is interested in any spamming option that comes up here anymore. You can pick those ones out easily ;)

    @ kimsland

your idea of filling in a ownership transferal form with 'unknown' as the original owner does not work. the application got bounced back to me!! have you or anyone else got any other ideas?
  8. kimsland Ex-TechSpotter Posts: 18,353

My idea came from Dell themselves
And other users (members) on this very thread have reported that it works !

You can contact Dell directly here on their idea: => http://www.techspot.com/vb/topic100658.html

Thankfully I already know it works, but contact Dell and ask them why yours was "bounced" Maybe it's stolen ?

i have contacted dell via there online support as im at work the times dell phone lines are open. you are quick to assume i have stolen the laptop or something!! such a warm welcome you give!!

the item was purchased on ebay legally, i have even asked the chappy i purchased it from and he does not have the details of the person he bought it from so now i am stuck with a D430 that does nothing

According to eBay, when I contacted them on this about 1 year ago now !
They said that you can write a bad report to the seller and request your money back
If the seller does not return your money, eBay will look at banning the member from posting again

ie Did you do this? (answer not required)

Sorry I cannot help you further, thankfully I've helped a few thousand already though ;)
You can leave now, as there's no more options for you, and we don't want to debate together I hope

well it was sold as spares or repairs as he had lost the charger and could not test prior to selling. maybe they have tried to do the same as me and then made up an excuse of a story to sell it on, who knows.

its so nice of you to tell me i can leave. i would have been here forever otherwise.

does copying and pasting the same link post after post help thousands of people?

im sure you will ban me and delete the posts now as you did the other day with the chappy trying to offer the key generator that he apparently reposted from one of your posts.

im not upset that you can not help, just that your tone is offensive

I checked that you are already a member at other forums, call me thorough
    Try there :grinthumb

And yes you are right, I'm very happy if you leave :)

Members should post once or twice and that's it, no need to ask and ask and ask over and over. Total waste.

If nothing helps you here then please leave, try Google or where-ever. Obviously eBay's not the best place, confirmed by you.

To all others, try my links above (I'll hold off pasting them in, until next post ;))

    That is all.
