Help with dell bios password

Hi Rustam,

Hope you will be able to provide a key for the following service tag.

Story below,

Acquired laptop from computer auction without checking it myself 1st, only to get home and find bios password set, have left various voicemails with person holding auction and have yet to have any of my calls returned.

Thanks in advance, hope you can help.

i understand there are free ways to get past the bios password for certain models. However, I own a D620 and I did read hundreds of pages and threads and I am in the same position i was in before attempting to get the password without having to pay for it.

in my opinion if you are too scared to open your laptop to reset bios with paperclip method you should pay. and i hope the few members who do have these 595b code generators do not help these people because the requests of members who have no other options (like the D620) are just passed over and mixed in with the hundreds of requests each day. I have tried but the only response i got was a private message with a link to a place that will do it for 50 bucks.

beginning to think this is a waste of time. JVZ43D1-595B

I agree with locoryan. It seems like a waste of time going through and looking for the free way out. Either pay for code or move on with a new laptop. And those guys out there with the master password 595B generator....take the program, burn it to a cd, and place it right up your ***. Holding onto it and not sharing it is just selfish and wrong.

I agree. I've always felt that profiting from others pain and suffering is wrong
I've tried to locate the generator and have at least 10 other fellow members on various forums keeping an eye out, but as yet nothing.

I wonder as the profiteering members grow older and as time passes, they slowly realize that many user\members just basically give up on asking for free help and leave their electronic device sitting in the corner doing nothing, or given away (likely result) to someone who doesn't mind pleading for help, all over again.

Without a doubt, this generator eventually will be posted by some good samaritan, hey we could even name it after that member, as the first in the world to be strong enough to help others without profit. Hey I've said this before, I've got little money but lots of knowledge which I freely provide to members and friends and family, and without doubt I feel happier for it; and I'm sure these support members would gain more out of life to share their knowledge freely, instead of holding onto greed on someone elses misfortune.

If a business is running that only creates anger and disgust, then why should that business continue. As per the words above "take the program, burn it to a cd, and place it right up your ****" It must be grand to gain such respect for the profit of money. We all wait for the one that will stand above the rest, and actually freely help, not just one, but thousands in the world. I know I'd remeber their name, if they did decide to, and others would always give thanks for years to come.

But nothing. Next time someone "purchases" their free key! Don't say thanks in the end, tell them the truth and say AR$# H@L#! Hopefully they actually learn that their service helps no one but themselves.

I speak French, and as a result, have the privilege to read thinks that are not mainstream. For that reason, I may be coming back soon with the infamous Keygen for 595B Dells

If we have any Russian or German Speaking members, that is the way to go too.

That's the community spirit, that TechSpot is about

We can call it the bisgoskeygen That has a nice ring to it :)

Hey guys, just in case one of the Heroes will help me...

i'm stuck @ a friends D610 HDD-Protection screen... and i'm not able to find any keygen :-(

I have a D620.. and I am unable to get into anything..
When I boot it up it says
"Invalid Configuration information - please run setup setup"
But I am unable to do anything.
As it goes straight to the gray screen and displays my service tag and asks for a password.
(the screen over the weeks I have grown to dislike very much)
No matter what buttons I push.. it just goes to that same screen.
I pray someone can throw me a bone and help me out.

Service tag is GQ089C1-595B
For some strange reason or another, I have been reading through the threads and
I see others talking/requesting hard disk passwords. I feel as though I may fall into
that category... I hope not...

I went to dell's site to do a transfer of ownership. I filled out all info on myself.
And called them after to see how long this process is going to take.
They cant do nothing unless I have the previous owners name.
But I dont know the owners info.
I was going to buy a computer at a shop and some guy was going to sell the guy one
So I wanted to get a cheap one and told him to go outside and talk to me about selling
me the one he had. Showed me it worked... did an exchange and when I went home,
I figured all was well until I rebooted

What kills me is that I give all my personal info to dell and yet they say they cant do nothing because they dont
know if its stolen.. well contact the previous owner... and yet they tell me.. they cant do that either.. wtf

I need the master password to get into the BIOS if anyone can help.
I thank whomever can help me out..

I would like to re-state to all New members, that there are FREE alternatives, than paying high costs.

Before deciding to accept any message on how you can pay to receive your passwords:
1. Read this entire thread (you are currently on) On many laptops, the passwords can be freely removed
2. Dell will supply you a password for under $40 only
3. Shop around. There are many pay for services out there, quite a few at eBay, and basically a Google search will find hundreds!

You have been informed
.

Note I will continue to post this message on each page change here

Thanks in advance who is going to help me.

I have an old HP omnibook 4150. Can't get into BIOS or into Windows. Have already tried to clear the CMOS, but I just erased clock settings, but password stayed on.

Can you help me?

OK, after spending amount of time on emails to HP customer support (which was great waste of time), I've decided to strip my omnibook apart.

Following the omnibook service manual I've learned, that bios IC is soldered on the motherboard (non-removable). RTC system battery is also soldered (I've removed it with soldering iron and put it back after about 5 hours, but it didn't do any good). No ˝clear cmos˝ jumper of any kind, no way to get pass that damn BIOS password.

If one wants to get past bios password, only way trough is contacting HP (I did that, and even tho I've received few we'll-be-glad-to-help-you nonsence mails, they did nothing because im not in the USA --> apparently password removal request form which I faxed to them only works for Americans).

I've gone trough google up and down and..... nothing. I've also downloaded every ˝password removal process˝ I found on e-mule, dc++, various torrent sites,...., and still nothing.

I've also tried every single method I found on here and on some other computer forums, even those which would work on other HP notebooks, and still....... nothing.

So if somebody can help me, please do before I loose my mind completely....

but none worked.

You wouldn't happen to have a link for that generator. At the moment I would try any and everything to get me out of these password woes

I bought a used DELL D620 at a yard sale. This guys didn't know much about the laptop. Since I got a good deal, I bought it.

When I turned it on and it seems like this laptop was owned by a company. It asked me to either login to the company domain or login as "administrator." Since I didn't know either password, I booted the machine with windows XP CD so that I can do a clean XP install. I get a blue screen and it asks me to "check with the administrator." I thought it could be BIOS password. I pressed F2 when i started the machine and checked the security settings. there is no password in any security sections. Now, I cannot install any program on this machine because I don't know the admin password. It doesn't boot from XP disc so that I could do a clean install.

How do I fix it?

If you can boot a cd... I would advise you to go
and download the dst-cd (password = smellyalater)
there is a link here in the forums for it
Delete the service tag inwhich would remove the password

Give it a try... tell me if it helps your problem

To: outflying

I believe your Inspiron 1100 is one of the models listed that you can use the
paperclip method. By shorting out the 24C02 chip.
There is a link to the method in the forums.
I believe the chip you need to shorten on your motherboard is the 24c168 chip.

Search the forum and get back to me to see if that helped your problem.
