Is Cyberpower a good choice for a computer?

  1. Hello. I read up on Cyberpower at resellerratings, and most people seem to be satisfied. However, I would like to call upon the assistance of those who have used this brand before so that I can decide if this is a good recommendation or not. The reason why I am asking is that there was one particular gaming system by CyberPower that sold for ~$540 at NewEgg and it seemed like a really great value.

For the item itself, here it is:

    CyberpowerPC Gamer Ultra 7212 Athlon II X2 245(2.9GHz) 4GB DDR2 500GB NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT Windows Vista Home Premium 64-Bit - Retail

Not really. Cyberpower is at risk of going off the books. If they do go bankrupt, where do you get parts, service, updates, drivers, etc.
Many of their motherboards are questionable... made under license by inferior companies.
Would you buy an eMachine if you could have a Gateway or a Dell for the Same money?
For the little money you save, they are simply a bad investment...
