    I like those prizes.

I did say as the runner up prize, yes. No one is suggesting that a copy of DOOM III or HL2 is the main prize!

That was basically my suggestions. Mobo, graphic card, memory, then runner up games.

I agree....agissi's prize post looks pretty good.

I believe I read earlier on gift certs from Newegg as well. I think those would be well-received.

Then Masque, we could do something like:

    Grand Prize: A64 & Mobo / $300 Newegg GC
    First Prize: X800 / $200 Newegg GC
    Second Prize: 512MB Corsair PC4000 / $100 Newegg GC
    Third Prize: Doom3/*game* / $50 Newegg GC

If we were to make the grand prize newegg GC worth what a A64 and mobo is, it'd have to be like $500, then the first prize would be like $400, and that be really expensive, maybe not possible?

I'd eliminate the first line as the Grand Prize if that were the case....take it to first, second and third and possibly some smaller not unlike the hats and shirts and such....or maybe a TechSpot Beer Mug! :D

How about USB-keys instead of games?
Much more useful than Doom (& Gloom).

Ya I'd rather have one of those USB HD's that we like 128/256/512MBs then D3, cuz I'll get that anyways :p
