Low FPS in Rift

i have recently downloaded rift, i was very excited but i soon realized the game was ruined due to some kind of lag.

my computer specs:

visiontek ati radeon hd 5670 2gb.
4gb ram
600 gb hard drive
amd phenom 9100e quad core processor 1.80ghz
64 bit system type.

Well, I will tell you now. Your hardware will not run the game very well, due to your CPU and GPU being pretty weak.

Have you tried playing it at it's lowest possible settings?

really? i just bought my card for 120$. i realize my cpu is probally really old, any ways i could buy a new one? and yes i always run it at lowest possible, still 10fps

yeah your best bet would to be upgrading your CPU , what board are you running on?

Also, Do you have all your video drivers up to date? old drivers could be the hindering your cards performance.

But yeah,your CPU is your real bottleneck,its holding back your GPU.
