I have quite happily ditched the PC to play MW and similar titles on the 360 and PS3.

The controller provides a degree of realism where the mouse keyboard combo amplifies the arcade nature of titles like COD MW.

KZ has an excellent "weapon weight" implemenation. Larger weapons are more difficult to handle etc.

Huh. I guess all those BF:BC2, TF2, L4D, L4D2, COD players need to be told to stop playing on the PC since NO ONE plays them anymore.

Um is this guy in ***** or does he have a 360 so far up his butt he can’t see straight? Its not that PC gamers aren’t playing FPS games, its the fact that game developers have the 360(which happens to be 7 years old) so far up there butts that all the PC guys get is some crappy port AKA MW2. I mean no PC gamer wants a hitbox so huge that you can shoot a bullet pass a character and still kill him like they can in the consoles. I still prefer my PC over my consoles for FPS any day, I have had steam since 2003 and more than 3/4 of the games I own are on PC. I only have things like Guitar Hero and racing games like Blur and Need for speed on my Consoles…..

Guess those console guys or this guy knows the "Halo" was originally a PC game and was gonna be released on PC. Then that's when Microsoft came along and bought the studio and made sure the PC didn't get it first. All we got was some crappy port. What the console guys don't realize is the 360 is holding the gaming industry back. PS3 is way better that the 360 in hardware, but when game developers come out with a game they design it and the crappiest hardware(360) and port it to others. Thus holding the gaming industry back, the 360 runs on Direct X9 most PC users are running on Direct X11 already and waiting for a game to be developed to to use it. Crysis was oen of them games that would fry a 360.

According to Joystiq, earlier this year, Xbox Live had ~20M users, 10M of which were admittedly non-gamers, and used the device for Facebook, Last.fm, Twitter, etc.

They (MSFT) stated they had an online peak of 2.2M concurrent users.

According to Steam Online Statistics (http://store.steampowered.com/stats/), there are currently over 2.5M users online at the moment.

Granted this does not explicitly mean these are all FPS players, but Steam is just one of many PC gaming services, and its users outnumber Xbox Live all on its own. These numbers don't include Battle.net 2.0 (no FPS, but PC gamers nonetheless), D2D, StarDock, etc. Then add all the non-tethered games, and you've got a community that probably outnumbers Xbox Live's entire footprint, even including the irrelevant non-gaming users.

The PC gaming community is alive and well, thank you very much. You can keep your antiquated hardware and AA-less games. We'll keep ours.

I play call of duty for 3 years.Although i can't say i dislike 3rd person perpective, i think that there is nothing comparable with the 1st person shooting games.It is more realistic and gets you more into the game.3rd person get you the feeling that this is NOT you playing...it is a charachter that you play...ot you just spactate the charachter.However 1st person make you feel that hey!this is you in the game.And about the pc-xbox thing i think that mouse gives you a way better feel of control that the joystick, whether it is about aiming or glitching

Tsunoda is a dolt. The PC FPS community probably averages about 500k unique users a day, give or take an extra 100k during offpeak / peak times. Sure, not as many playing Reach right now, but it's still very numerable.

Im surprised no one has mentioned the server size cap for fps games on pc vs console. I loved playing some of the 32 vs 32 maps on Battlefield. Dedicated servers are great too. Lets not forget the ability to mod either.

noone games on pc first player shooters anymore HELLO anyone ehard of quake 3 arena quake 4 doom 3.. like seriously microsoft must be dumb or something of course halo wouldnt make such a great game on pc cause halo 2 really was a console game, also borderlands is a great game on pc the only games that should stay on console's are mw, mw2 and any games that require more action on keyboard then the mouse itself (ie: knifing,spiritng,scoping,arming,disarming, ect...)

i could go on and on but no company looks at others but there own at who plays what on what, but if they open there eyes alot of players are palying pc quake live atm so either they got there eyes glued shut or they clearly blind and need to be laid off the job

pc gaming is much more skill then a controller "reason being" ur hand always moves the mouse so even a slight lil up or down your screwed of your shot, unlike the controller its not that sensitive"

Methinks Kudo needs to have a sit-down with Mr. Steve Ballmer (Micro$oft CEO) and Billybob Gates, Kudo will get the Big Ream Job when they tell him Windowze makes them Billion$$. Like so many other PC users, the main reason I don't use Linux (PCLinuxOS 2010.7 in my case) 100% of the time is because we need Windowze OS to play our great PC games - FPS, racing & flight sims, RPGs, etc.
