Maybe you ought to try a different type of acceleration...does it have the option for Open GL? I've never played Max Payne before so I wouldnt know. Do you have the newest driver available for your video card?

I think by downloading your newest video cards driver this issue will be fixed. If this doesn't work there is a Max Payne patch out you could try it. Fixed my old Vodoo 3 problems. By the way you really should get a new video card, yes I know it costs a lot, by now a Geforce 4 MX 420-460 should be very cheap, around 120 Canadian, or an Ati Radeon 7500-8500 should work very well with Max Payne at very high detail. Hope this helps :grinthumb
