Help! Are there Hard Drive requirements for my PC?!

Hello, I recently bought a Compaq Deskpro En series for really cheap. I need to purchase a hard drive for it. My question is, does this particular computer have a limit to the size of a hard drive that I can install or is it able to withhold what ever i want? I would like to put a 60 gig drive in it or more? Is this possible? Please help me out.

Thanks Steve

You may run into a 32GB drive limit, because of its age.
My wife has the same PC (PII-400, 192MB (128 + 64) 168-pin S-DRAM 100MHz, CAS-2) with only a 6.4GB UDMA-100 HD in it. It's only used for email and web-browsing.
Try that big HD first, perhaps partitioning it in 2x30GB works.
You could always buy a bootable PCI IDE-controller card, if you want something really big.

Why not contact Compac and ask what the maximum supported hard drive is?
