New computer build - what do you guys think?

  1. Hello everyone,

    This is my first post. My apologies if I'm posting this in the wrong forum. These are the parts I have purchased so far. I'm waiting for the Q9450 to put in the system. Do you guys think this will be a 'somewhat' future proof system? Any additional recommendations? Thank you.

    I don't think any computer system at the moment can be future proof because of the speed that the computer industry is expanding. Newer better systems are being built about every 6 months

    Although that is a good spec and i think that will be a good computer for a least 5 years maybe more. Don't know if computer industry expansion will slow down or not.
