I like the new forum / look.

I did notice that the hide my online status was on by defaultin my profile but
it's showing my on-line status anyway, doesn't bother me.

The Gallery is nowhere to be found. Any information on that ?

Acidomosis, your problem looks somewhat like mine, although I do see the whole of the text, it's only when I print, that I lose some, my guess is that that there are still teething problems, Julio monitors this thread, so he will see your post & screen shots.
I reckon that it will take a little while yet to get everything ship-shape, I was talking to a friend who builds websites for a living, & he reckons that what they have done here, is the equivalent of building about three websites.

I have enabled 'similar threads' feature, look for those at the bottom of the pages. I have found that to be extremely useful in the past when looking for information in other sites/forums.

    JS/CSS Problem?

Acid's gonna go ape here, but we've talked about this issue in the IRC channel, and amazingly he's the only person that was seeing that issue- other people in the channel had the same builds of software and so forth, didn't see the issue. That doesn't mean it's not there, just our suspicion was on a local problem and not TS per se. Still could be TS.

Now, that being said, it's MY turn to post a found bug that I'm guessing I may be the only one to see. It appears to be JS or CSS related in Firefox. Internet Explorer sees it fine. I hope, to be honest, that people tell me I'm the only one with issues.

If you look at the top, the bar with THread Tools, Search this Thread, and Display Modes does not render properly at all. You click on a drop down. Thread tools displays properly, Search thread is clipped on the right side by an unknown number of pixes. Display modes show highly clipped once. Then if you move off of it and come back, it only displays as a single line. No way you can click something on it (Ironically, the new feature I was most eagre to try!)

Anyone else seeing this, or is it just me? Is it my machine, or TS (And we can all beat Julio with nerf bats until he fixes it?)

    My build is: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040913 Firefox/0.10.1 :chef:

I only have a problem with "Display modes" which doesn't quite show all of the drag down menu. The two other ones work fine.

In order to use up less real-estate, I wanted to replace my avatar (Guinness pint glass) with a smaller one. Thinking the option would show when I deleted the current one, instead I lost my avatar alltogether and I am not allowed to upload my new one, I can only select from the standard list. Any chance of getting that fixed, please?

Using W2K/SP4 and Firefox 1.0PR (or even IE6) and (my standard) screen resolution of 1024x768, every pull-down menu works fine. Must be either Mozilla 5 or a different resolution.

If you select Print Preview, then print from there, you should get the whole page on your printer, at least I do.

Nope, RBS, Re; printing, that doesn't work with my printer, {Epson 42] Glen of Tailored Systems, a member, I saw him today, & he said go to printer>properties, click "enlarge/reduce", then "fit to page", that didn't work either.
Have you tried printing since the new look? maybe it IS teething troubles, & will be sorted.

RBS, I have an image of your old Guinness in My Pictures, [jpeg 67 x 131, 2.51 KB]
If you can tell me how to get it to you, on site, or where ever, perhaps you can downsize it, [Photoshop?] & re-install it as your Avatar, or is it more problematic than that?

I agree that the user info with the avatar and the other stuff takes up way to much space...

I think it looks fine myself, otherwise I do believe you can disable "display avatars" in your options if you want.;)

/me doesn't like the new look, but then again I'm a picky bugger who prefers vBulletin 2 over 3.

I like what you guys did! Hahaha, took me awhile to get used to it though. I've been in Hawaii for the past few weeks. :)

I've gotten use to most of it but the space the avatar takes up vertically just seems to be too much.

Still have the same problem as shown in the screenshot. It's not a HUGE deal but it does cut off some things like page numbers (I may/may not be able to go the next page of search results due to that).

Ok, it seems Firefox displays TS a little bit better than IE does. Although I have noticed something..

I am going to have to go with my instinct and say this is not a issue that is coming from my end. I know your saying that you don't have this problem, but I am seeing a large issue on IE (as in the the screenshot in one of my posts above), and I am seeing THIS problem in Firefox PR2. The same area on the right side of the table is being cut off, although LESS than it is in IE. The edges on the left side are rounded off. The edges on the right side are not which leads me to think these two things are connected somehow.

I have attached a screenshot to show what I am seeing in Firefox (PR2 version which is now downloadable from the Firefox website).

Unless it is just supposed to be that way, but I wouldn't think so.

I'm going to play with IE and see if I can figure out any reason why this might be coming from my end though.

Are any of you running Windows XP with SP2? I'm kind of wondering if it may have anything to do with changes made in SP2.

I checked with a number of browsers, all show the left side with rounded corners, and the right side with straight corners, so that must be the design.

What is your resolution, if not in a 4:3 format, that might explain.

Can I just say that I miss the profiles access, but perhaps it is not considered a neccessity, it isn't, of course, I can see that it stops members wandering off the subject, & saying "welcome!" etc.,.....[wonder who that could be??]
Is there a central point where profiles can be accessed, or perhaps they are there for internal use only?

I noticed you can't report a post any more, that should not be there for whatever reason!

The icon in the top right corner of a post says "Report Bad Post".

Oops, I must have been looking in my own posts (who don't have that Danger shield).
I had not even noticed the damn things until Nodsu's post!
