Care to share the url with us?

Veh> Even if it doesn't take much to use Frontpage, you need skill to win an award with it...

Besides, I've seen plenty of sites handcoded which looked like s****...

Well personally I think the site is terrible, but because It had a half decent layout, and lots of depth it won. Also, it may take a LONG time to load unless you have DSL or cable, because it was made to be viewed offline, untill we had to put it online(oh yea, its made to be viewed at 1024x768, and the guy on the right looks terrible cuz that pic was taked at about 1AM the night before one of the competitons - lol):

Im going for the win again this year, but going solo, heres what this years it looks like so far:

Here is what it will look like eventually:

Hey agissi - nice site, all 3 of them gave me an IE error. First one was the worst, closed all 5 windows I had running. Then I tried loading the 2nd one...it stopped responding and I had to Task Man it.

Did CoolerGuys mind that you "borrowed" their heading? And the title is a classic flamingtext.com.

And of course, all the images/buttons along the left column are red X's, and then, of course, I can't right click to "Show Image."

    Oi ve.

I just tried to load it a 2nd time - Windows locked up completely.

Man I swear I never did anything to you! It's constructive criticism, that's all! :haha:

And one other thing - something I'll never be able to understand about you - the fact that you're spending $40+ on a HSF but are upgrading to SDRAM!

    OK, a couple things:

#1: Sorry about the error and lockup....thats never happened to me before(even on crappy school computers, and in Dallas Texas it worked fine(thats where I flew with the 'buds to pickup the award and show it off).

#2: Im getting some DDR to day at Circut City(Its got a $30 rebate so you can be quite about the rip-off deals).

#3: What about this site?: http://www.geocities.com/worldmx2000 . That defently shouldnt!

    So there you have it...

Yup, All by myself...but thats without all the goodies(javascripts, page transitions, some other cool stuff). And notice if you goto the admin page, you can login into the geocities page manager(its a shorter way for me;)). Ofcourse it isnt done yet but...the layout is ok right?

Well congrats. I'm in the process of designing my own webpage, to host my reviews and stuff :D

I'm getting alot of debug errors so it's not fit to be host it now, but I hope to have it finished to a degree sometime soon. I'm using Frontpage as well...but XP :p

Layout's good. I can't say mine is better, but it is good. I like the Flash buttons :D
  10. ---agissi--- TechSpot Paladin Posts: 2,369   +9

Yeah, the flash is groovy...I like it too. Go here for it:grinthumb . Im using Frontpage XP, not 2000;) My XP disk, came with FP on it, which was nice(I had a special disk).

Pages loaded fine for me on my parents computer, running WindowsME (IE or Opera).

You would think Veh, with your 97 case fans and all your mods that your browser would run stable
  13. MrGaribaldi TechSpot Ambassador Posts: 2,802

No problem in Opera 6.03 on 2k...

  16. Vehementi TechSpot Paladin Posts: 3,199

All my mods...oh you mean a window that came with my case??? ;)

Eh I loaded it and it works fine. Dunno what happened before...Although the buttons along the left still don't show up.

Ah you must use the free buttons then...oh well.
  17. ---agissi--- TechSpot Paladin Posts: 2,369   +9

No I made those buttons using Photoshop and a Hover button feature in FrontpageXP/2002. I think you and your PC are just....never mind.

I'm sure you are using them, here's a helpful web site.

So if you want to change one aspect of your web site, you simply alter one file to change all the files.

    :)
