Netlimiter

4 crashes at nltdi.sys. Probably Netlimiter is the culprit. Upgarde or uninstall Netlimiter may resolve the problem. One minidump is crashed with ntstatus 80000004 and it is the symptom of hardware error. Repost if you still have BSOD 8E after you upgrade Netlimiter.

oh thanks, I'll uninstall netlimiter.

what hardware? can ya know what is it?

oh btw I never actually got a BSOD ever since I got windows xp for years.

I will suggest you uninstall Netlimiter and wait for a week. If no more BSOD, you can confirm bugcheck code 8E is also caused by Netlimiter.

modem

how is the modem connected?

1.direct (to pc)
2.to a router

if it is direct to the computer then reset the modem and then plug it back into the computer it means the ip address is keep getting changed usually by a dchp server computer, router. if that does not work type cmd on run and ipconfig/renew to renew the ip address

if its by router then go on to the router and renew dchps if that does not work then you will have to get your internet connections to get them fixed.

sorry I don't know exactly what u mean.

Hi husamn,

Only one minidump is taken on 1st Jan. It is crashed at mak800u.sys. I searched goggle and there has known software problem for mak800u.sys. Probably it is caused by faulty ram. BTW you software event log has a lot of application failure wiht memory access error (ie NT status code x'80000005' and it is the symptom of faulty memory. Zip the drwatson log and attach the log file (ie your Drwatson maybe very big and I want the latest 300K). If you don't know the path of DrWatson log, execute drwtsn32.exe at windows and it shows the logfile path and dumpfile path.
