Problem installing Medieval 2 Gold Edition

    How many drives do you have again? If 2 try both (duh), and if one then try borrowing one from somebody.

    i have one dvd and one normal disc drive.

    i think i have given up, soon ill buy a new dvd drive and try it then

    thanks everyone for ur help. ill keep checking the post so if anybody comes up with an idea on how to fix the problem plz post, it would be much appreciated

    The problem for you is that you dont have a Dual Layer DVD ROM. Gold Edition Requires that because there are only two DVD:s on the Gold Edition. I mean only for the Medieval 2 there were two DVD:s. The problem i got is to choose where to install it, that i cant do... Default is C.. But i want to install it on another drive.. Well well hope this solved your problem because thats the only solution I got for you!

    Please help

    I just bought medieval ii total war and when i insert the disk it won't even show up. I play other games and the work fine. It acts like it's not recognizing the disk. It is brand new. I have 512 mb, amd sempron3200 processor. Any ideas. Maybe my computer needs updated. I have xp also. Thought i'd give this a try before trying to reurn the game. Thx :)

    problem reading disk

    I just bought Medieval total II gold edition, and I insert disc 1 into my PC and nothing pops up, so I go into My Computer and all it says is CD Drive, I double click on it and theres nothing in it when I explore it, while when I insert disk 2, it reads it perfectly. what should I do? any suggestions. any help is appreciated.
