CPU: Intel pentium 4 2.83ghz
Gpu : ati hd 2600 pro
Ram: 512 mb DDR ram
PSU: INTEX 450W

my previous graphics card was nvidia fx5500 256mb.........i purchased my new Gecube ATI hd2600 pro........but i cant get any display in my monitor.......i made all the power connections right.....but i cant figure out the problem........i changed my default adapter to agp in the bios and still the problem persists....do i need a bios update......?.....Desperately waiting for help........:(

Use driver cleaner pro (free version) to make sure all nvida graphics is gone but do not clean any nvidia chipset drivers the mobo may have (nvida named alone is typically the video only drivers). That said I have to admit I bought two AGP ATI HD cards and took both back cause they would not work. Mine were made by visiontek though and it was when they first came out. I have never had problems with HD PCI-E cards, just ATI's HD AGP, they suck bad.

yup i uninstalled my old drivers guys........but i had to try that driver cleaner utility that appzalien had told me.....
