  1. When I first open a folder on my desktop or open a web page I get this error messege frequenlty:

EXPLORER caused an invalid page fault in
    module OLEAUT32.DLL at 0167:7fea98ba.

I also get another error with a DLL file starting with 'S' sorry I haven't got that one in awhile so I can't post it right now. When the error happens my browser/window closes. When I open it again it usually works fine. This is more an annoyance then anything else I was just hoping someone knew how I could fix this problem.

Oh I recently downloaded directx9, I don't remember getting these errors before downloading it. I did wipe out my hard drive right before downloading it though. Nasty virus...7 of them :(

I seem to remember a problem with that same dll file but this is all I could find at MSKB. http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=259737
It seems to deal with the error caused my MS Money and not the problem you have, but it is worth a look.
