  1. Hi All,
Greetings ! I'm a new join to this forum.
I would like to have ur help in tackling one problem which is haunting many IT professionals , as indicated by the postings...the memory read write error.

we've oracle 11i apps on oracle 10g database.

Only from a particular page , when a thumbnail is clicked , sometimes, the user gets the URL error and at the same time , the application server throws the message "Instruction at memory XXXXX could not be written.... click OK to terminate ......" . The frequency of this message has increased since we did the windows update recently. pls help in solving this. any help is highly appreciated.

    our apps server set up

32 bit windows on 12 GB RAM

All client PCs are of good configurations.

    Thanx and Rgds,

what I don't understand is 12gb ram and a 32bit OS!? 32 bit OS will only be able to manage 4gig of ram.
anyway I would recommend you to search oracel knowledge base and consult their support.
we use a similar config in our company but unfortunately I have nothing to do with it. but I will ask the guy who does. not sure when I will be able to catch him...
