  2. What about cooling?
Yes, they mention how many fans there are, but how's the air flow? I didn't even see that mentioned.
It also doesn't look like they've planned for SSD drives.

I'm sorry, but having to go out of my way and find out which devices need extension cables, wait for those to be shipped, etc. isn't my idea of fun.

I would've had to give this case a mediocre rating at best.

a 10 for style, but if you care more about style than your Graphics card overheating, you're probably not cut out for building PCs.

May be if it is cooled with something even colder it can hold out .... I don't remember the exact name but few years ago there was some casing with compressor inside it to cool CPU etc.; may be something of that sort is in order to be used with this case.
  5. This is a Nice case .. I like the individual compartments and the top and bottom carry handles. Hopefully the Taiwanese are taking notes and will bring out a copy for £40 - £70. And use less metal ...47kg is more than I weigh. How ironic .. small gamer cushed to death by Computer. £700 gets me a 128gb SSD plus a a fully populated 4bay 8tb NAS. And some money left over for Hobknobs and Coffee. lots of Hobknobs..

Junior, you really have to understand that this site is not on either Pounds Sterling, or The Metric table of weights and measurements.

Accordingly, this case is selling for 700 to 800 >dollars<(US), and weighs 47 Pounds, not 47 kilograms (21+ Kilos).

Even at that, it's still too expensive, but perhaps only bordering on too heavy.

  7. I think this case is a very interesting and successful design exercise around the hard points defined by conventional high-end desktop hardware. For a modder introducing a truly steathy water cooling loop to this case might just be the ultimate challenge.
  8. looks to me as an BIG dust catcher!! no thanks, give me
    clean lines,easier to keep clean!!

$845 in Australian dollars, plus postage which would be about $50-odd as standard for something this big and heavy.

Plus postage insurance, because you'd sure want to take it out on a baby like this...
  10. I do like it, reminded me of the old Crays...

However, I'll stick to my XFX980i tucked inside an Apple G5 case; for now...

That sounds a little bit like cross dressing ;)
  12. First off, sorry for posting as Guest. Too lazy and too tired to register atm ;)

I like the design of the case a lot, however, even if it was at the same price as my HAF 932, i would still stick to my choice. Reasons:

-> Dust will accumulate between every indent in this (truly magnificent) design in very few time, resulting in a case that's a lot less good looking than when you bought it. On top of that, it's not hygienic at all.

-> If you need to switch places (i don't know, you're moving, or your wife is bitching about cleaning the apartment...) you almost need a heavy weight world champion to do it for you.

But i still really like the design :D

  13. The best of the best looking case I ever seen in the computer industries.
Have it for a year now, I wish I have extra cash to buy the 2nd one before discontinue.
Love this case worth every penny..... not for everyone because the cost.
