Okay, cuz it would be nice if I could put Windows on it. But how long will an SSD last then? I dont to have to replace it after a year. Arent there any (small) SSDs thst just work properly?

I've tried a computer with one though, and it's because I would rather have fast boot up speeds over gaming ability or something like that, but as I said earlier, that's just me.
And no, I've never experienced the problems of having an SSD.

Anyone know if I can put Windows on an SSD? Without damaging the SSD, cuz thats what I heard.

There was a problem with TRIM command and windows trying to defrag SSDs but I believe that is all in the past...

    http://www.ocztechnology.com/blog/?p=178
"Make sure your SATA controller is set to AHCI mode (you can do so in your BIOS). AHCI is needed for native TRIM support in Windows 7. It’s recommended to run your SSD in AHCI mode to enable TRIM to do its job."

Not had any problems with the Win7 install on my Crucial C300 128GB SSD so far, other than putting games on it as well and slowly but surely running out of space on it :D

Ah sweet, yeah I saw that. But is it worth buying an SSD?

I find that working with large RAW camera image files in Lightroom they load, and the catalogue previews are visibly quite a bit quicker when setup on an SSD. Slightly faster boot, slightly faster load times in games and no clicking/whirring disk noise are the main differences I find. It's nice to have but in my opinion I don't think it's a necessity for a performance machine, like many other considerations if it's for a gaming rig I'd rather invest the money in a higher end graphics card, or perhaps a nicer/bigger monitor.

Oh, and when Windows crashes a disk check on reboot completes considerably faster :D

Have you thought about getting the i5 25k instead of your AMD hexacore?

I need to get a new CPU cooler, as I heard that the H70 wasnt the best I could get for that price. So I am getting the Prolimatech Megahelms heatsink. "Push/Pull on the Megahalems makes it a monster." So I'm getting two fans, does anyone know of a good 120mm fan? I have been looking around and find these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...rue&Keywords=(keywords)&Page=2#scrollFullInfo and http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835200028. Are these any good? One has a a ball bearing type, and the other a sleeve. Is that a big difference? Any other recommendations on fans?
    Thanks in advance :)

That looks pretty respectable to me.
I think you may be able to get the 6870 a little cheaper? I see an XFX one at $170 without the mail in rebate.
