Greetings!

I have recently discovered that my computer is infected with this virus:
Trojan horse Downloader.Agent2.GVD. There are actually a couple of instances of this in different locations.

Per your instructions, I have attached the output from mbam and the logfile from HiJack This. SuperAntiSpyware found no items, so I did not attach a logfile. I also attached the AVG file which lists the offending items.

I would greatly appreciate any help you could provide in eliminating these items. Thanks in advance for the fine service you folks provide!

You need to scan with the 8 step procedure using the Avast or Avira listed. Sorry, it's only to help you better. In most cases, that alone will solve you issues. You'll need to uninstall or disable AVG and Mcafee (which you should only have [1]).

Is avast or avira better than AVG? Becaus I have AVG installed but I'm not sure if it's enough. I also used trend housecall.

Yes, they are much better than AVG.
I have used AVG years ago, and I don't think I can post on this forum what I honestly think of it.:haha:
