ok I just got off the phone with my ISP Found it very difficult to explain, but after half an hour (with them logging into TechSpot too) they say it's TechSpot server problem not theirs (that I can't get emails) Anyway, maybe I'll just wait until tomorrow
Good news are DNS update seems to be finally hitting other servers... once that happens broadly we will go over email issues, if any, at that point. Thanks for your patience.
DNS is back to working for me at work - I'll have to check when I get home. It was still showing the IP for me this morning.
It's good the DNS finally propagated. I couldn't access the main page for the previous couple of days since my ISP blocks IP addresses from being accessed.
No Techspot.com in New York either... I find it ironic that even though I am accessing an IP address directly the school web filter isn't blocking it.
FYI, it could be that your ISP or your local machine has cached the domain/IP combination. For solving and clearing your local cache you can run the following on the command prompt: ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /flushdns worked (but I had to run services first and set DNS to automatic- started) Still testing the subscribed replies though (new message to myself didn't give email response so far)
