I unfortunately got the Vista Security 2012 and Ping.exe viruses about a week ago. I tried to fix it on my own but ended up doing a system restore. All seemed okay until about 20 minutes ago. Ironically, notification alerts from this "Vista Security 2012" virus keep popping reminding me I am infected. Seems like only the Vista Security 2012 virus has come back with a vengeance so I am asking for some help to remove this virus from my computer. I have seen a few solutions to this virus but I didn't want to do this on my own again, risking screwing things up further. If this helps, my PC is running Vista Home Premium on a Dell Studio XPS 16.
