    Hi all,

    I have been charged with the task of changing\enabling\configuring screensavers in W2k workstations without the use of; a. policies or b. display properties page. I have looked through the registry and found various references to screensavers but changing them doesn't seem to have an affect in W2K. Does anyone know if there is a ini or config file used for this? or indeed any way of doing this?

    Many thanks in advance.

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\"ScreenSaveActive"="1"

    Enable ScreenSaver ( 1 -> yes / 0 -> no )

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\"ScreenSaverIsSecure"="0"

    Ask for Password when leaving screensaver ( 1 -> yes / 0 -> no )

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\"ScreenSaveTimeOut"="900"

    Time before launching screensaver in seconds ( 900 / 60 -> 15 minutes )

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\"SCRNSAVE.EXE"="C:\\WINNT\\system32\\ssbezier.scr"

    Path to ScreenSaver to launch

    Hope this helps.

    It might be necessary to log-off/log-on for the changes to take effect.
