What do you all drive?

1988 Chevy Suburban, V10 1500

What's not shown in this pic is the rack, CB antenna, 2.4ghz antenna, 5ghz antenna and 900MHz antenna on the roof

It has triple batteries (using an isolator), a CB, a reserve battery unit in the back, aftermarket shocks (for mountain riding), a GPS, a motion-activated DVR with camera (camera is mounted on the headboard above the rearview), a 1200W inverter in the front, a 400W inverter in the back, a top-mounted solar cell for keeping the batteries charged (15W panel) and a hell of a lot more

1999 Toyota Solara SLE V-6

I love her, she drives very smoothly, and has a punch. 200HP ><

Bought @ 168k Miles for $5,000

Sold my BMW 330i now, also about to sell an older 318i I had here in Ecuador. And bought a new Honda CR-V (black). Delivery in 15 days, or so they say.

Ford 250 Super Duty Triton V8, 2 big doors, 2 little doors, 3/4 ton pickup with an Eagle hydraulic lift; Dodge Caravan 5-door; 1978 Jeep Pickup; 1994 Ford Explorer, 84 Toyota Corolla, and a Mercedes Benz 2007 S-Class S550.

Besides the two other vehicles I've already mentioned that are buried in this thread, I also have a 1983 Toyota Celica GTS.

I now have a 1999 Honda Civic. 60k miles its got alot of life left.

Not my first pick (shotgun rack doesn't look right in a civic :) ) but the car was given to me (my father works for Honda) so I cant complain.

15 days huh? It took them a couple of months actually but I got a better deal in the end. Pretty happy about the move to a SUV, which BTW is not truck based so it drives more or less like a sedan.

I drive a 2004 Chevrolet Impala. Pretty decent car, and a fairly large sedan.

If I could I'd buy one of those enormous cars from the 70's. He he.

If you want larger...

Look up the 1968 Plymouth Fury VIP....

That's what we drive. Drive it everywhere we go.

I have -

2002 Ford Explorer 4 door XLT - 6cyl
2004 Chevy Colorado - 4 door, short box, 4x4, inline 5
2007 Ford Explorer 4door, XLT, V8
1995 For Ranger - 2 door, std box, 2x4, 4 cyl

and I just got home from a long weekend on the road... I picked up my new to me,

1979 International Harvester Scout - 2 door, 4x4, 304 v8.

Box on wheels

Mine's a "buzz box" Daihatsu Mira, '94. Not gonna win any "chicks" - I'm 68 years old - :haha:, but sure beats catching a bus or walking to the local supermart. And 14 Kms/Litre.

Well, you're probably right about not being able to pick up "chicks" with the Daihatsu. Still, the opportunity for a relationship with a nice woman with a practicle side might yet present itself. Face it, the women you might meet outside of Walmart are not going to be as high maintainence as the ones you meet at Bloomingdales.

Thanks Cap'n Cranky. You got a genuine chuckle out of me, and your dead right, the ladies from Walmart would be a lot less maintenance, and probably a lot more down to earth and fun to be with. You've given me new hope... who knows what the future holds? Keep on posting! Cheers Poppa Bernie Bear :D
