What'd you buy yourself today?

Leap Motion controller. Was on an Amazon special. So far with some additional apps (GameWave), it's not too bad a controller. Not sure it improves general use of a computer though. Might take a look at the developer kit.

Actually, that doesn't give you a model number that we are familiar with. :p If screen is 4 inches, it's an iPhone 5 or above. If screen is 3.5 inches (4 rows of apps on screen, plus dock) it's an iPhone 4S or lower.

Ah snap. I purchased another Sapphire HD7970 OC. :(

Paid $420+ for the first, $320 for this (including shipping). I read reviews of 7970 series, and this is the nearly the best performing, most OCable, quietest, coolest card. I'm really happy with my current one, so I'll either Xfire it or (most likely) put it into my HTPC... Half the cost of 'next-gen' console, 5x the graphics. :D

Crossfire!
75+FPS, max detail 2560x1440 in BF4 :)

Finally found a decent setup for the GoPro and some clear roads so here are the videos! The quality was way better but YouTube re-encode the videos and is limited to 30fps...

I'm actually liking this gadget more than my DSLR even though it's only 1/10th of the price :)

That is an awesome road and it looks like it was lots of fun making that vid.

Couple of weeks ago, my daughter smashed my S3 on the floor, so I needed a replacement, and ended up buying an GT-i9505, mainly due to pretty damn good offer (which included buying back my old S3) :D. TBH, I was divided between getting an iPhone 5S or this, but only not having 32GB option for my price range tilted my decision in S4's favor. By the way these pics were taken with 920, ironically ......... since this 920 also survived a similar smashing tells one a lot about build quality of Nokias ;)

As usual there have been unexplainable reboots/crashes, but for a change the performance is generally better, when it works that is.

Razer Orbweaver Stealth (after having played with a discounted Nostromo for a few months and enjoying the comfort of it, soon to go on ebay), Logitech G602 gaming mouse as I miss the shape and feel of a logi mouse, and don't use all the buttons on my MMO 7 mouse (soon to go on ebay), and Microsoft Surface Pro 2 128gb for the wife to replace her ageing AMD E-350 netbook, although I'll be playing with it too :)

Welllll, today my GTX770 4GB finally came in. I have had a 660ti for awhile now but doing 3D work on one card just got too slow. So now I have a 770 for the rendering and a 660ti for the display or if the scene is under 2GB I'll probably render with both to save time. They are both Gigabyte Windforce cards. I had a fantastic time with my Windforce 660ti so when I found the 770 Windforce for a good price I decided to stick with it.

660ti on top, 770 on bottom. The 770 is a lot longer than I was expecting but I made it fit. Also the 660ti's shroud is cheap and plasticy feeling but the 770 is all metal and very solid.

Bought myself a Nexus 7 yesterday. 32GB version for $10 less than 16GB version.

I'm going to Japan again soon, so it's a lot lighter than my 10in Motorola Xoom. Also a lot snappier, prettier screen, etc... but I'm still keeping the Xoom around. :)
