  1. I noticed eariler and was wondering. This is like our 2nd move : Thx for the heads up :P
  2. Our other move was to a new ISP, and we also had the site unavailable a few times due to crashes etcThis server will much better suite the new Techspot with it's increased traffic so we will hopefully get no downtime to speak of per year...The new server has already been setup, I'm just doing some final touches on it and waiting on The Planet to change the IP address in the DNS servers...
  3. The Planet has been extremely helpful about providing the new more powerful server and increased bandwidth giving us considerable room for growth in the coming months/year...In case you are wondering, we will be moving from our current Dual PIII to a brand-new Dual Xeon box... this should speed things up a notch (I think we load fast enough already thanks to many optimizations we have made), this will also help handling load at peak hours among many other things that matter from our stand point of view. Hopefully downtime will be non-existent through the whole transition to the new server.
  4. Good to hear about the increased traffic that TechSpot has been receiving. I hope the server transition goes well!
  5. Well cool, we appreciate it
