Release of Optimus mini OLED keyboard delayed

One of the most interesting items I am looking forward to is the Optimus mini OLED keyboard. It has been slightly delayed for launch, originally set to be released next month, now not being shipped until the middle of June. Not a big delay, but for those who already have them pre-ordered it might be annoying. If you haven't seen this nifty little device yet, it's essentially a small USB device you plugin that gives you 3 buttons with 96x96 resolution displays on them to program to do custom functions. They aren't cheap, at $120 a pop, but the novelty factor is great. You can read more about Optimus products at Artlebedev's website.

I dont think I would pay $120 for 3 extra USB keys. I think this item is more a proof of concept for the real optimus keyboard. I'm guessing OLEDs are still too expensive to make a full keyboard out of it. OLEDs still have a limited lifespan so expect it to start dying in a few years. would be nice if you could jsut buy replacement keys and pop them back on the keyboard.
