Eight security flaws discovered in Android

By Justin Mann

You can't have the good without the bad, and the bad in Google’s lauded Android platform was bound to come eventually. Researchers have probed the platform and discovered several security threats contained within. According to Core Security, a total of eight vulnerabilities have been discovered, all of which have been published to their site this week.

With the release of Android-toting devices still months down the road, that’s more than plenty of time for developers to tackle the problem and for manufacturers to make sure their products are updated. Hopefully Google will not idle in getting the issues fixed.
