Apple restores deleted MobileMe emails

By Justin Mann

After Apple’s screw-up with MobileMe and their apology that came afterward, the company believes that they have now sorted out all the issues and fixed MobileMe fully. In addition, they have gone a step further and appear to have recovered all the email that was deleted during the days they were having trouble.

The latter is probably more important than an apology to the users of the service. Though Apple claims only a small percentage of people were affected, perhaps as small as 1%, when you are dealing with thousands of people it can cause quite a headache. While some people are still complaining of intermittent issues, Apple is maintaining a MobileMe status page so people can check for themselves if something is awry.
