Honestly after using the Windows 7 Beta for a day or so, I am SOOOOOOOOOOOO glad I've made the move to Vista. Windows 7 is actually what everyone complained about with Windows Vista, you ****** just never used Vista and learned that its really not that different from XP as long as your hardware handles it.Every single thing from how your recycle bin is managed to this "libraries" crap is just awful. But if you ****** want "Display Properties" back on your right click menu on the desktop... well you actually didn't even get that back either.All I hope for at this point is that Vista gets extended as long as XP has, I will probably be foregoing the Windows 7 OS if this is anything near what the final product will come out as. They had ways for people who had no clue to do things, and ways for people who did to do advanced things. Now all you can do is the things for people who have no clue, only the simple control panel, only the simple folder management. The taskbar is more cluttery and looks like a copy of Ubuntu and the OSX dock at the same time.Once again... I'm just so glad I've gotten used to Vista. |
