ATI's Radeon 9500 Pro - Now Shipping & Faster

This is a card I'm looking at buying, Anandtech will get you in the know of its features and performance:

ATI has started shipping their Radeon 9500 Pro for arrival in retail in the coming weeks. The final card looks different, uses new memory and when coupled with a new driver is much faster than before...

If ATI can indeed get their Radeon 9500 Pro cards out in quantity before the end of the year they will have at least a 2 month lead on NVIDIA. Putting pressure on NVIDIA in this ~$200 market segment combined with their uncontested Radeon 9700 Pro, ATI has truly proven their ability to deliver on promises - a welcome change from the ATI we saw during the days of the 8500.

 1. An upgrade from a Ti 4200 up to a R9500Pro isn't that big of an upgrade...Don't you think? You might want to wait until the NV31, and see what it has to offer. Wow - I really like the 9500. Right between the Ti4400 & the 4600. That's a good place to be for a budget card, IMHO.The 9500 Pro will be using 8x AGP, correct?
 2. I think Per had issues with his Ti4200 not working so its a card to fill a gap in one of his PCs rather than replace an existing card.
