Fallout 3: The Pitt DLC is back on Xbox Live

Here’s a quick update for Fallout 3 fans: Following yesterday's failed launch of a much-awaited expansion pack for the game, Bethesda has announced that a bug-free version of The Pitt is now available for download via the Xbox Live Marketplace. Without mentioning specific details, the company said a “corrupted” file was to blame for the issue which only affected the English version of the DLC on Xbox 360 consoles.

Those who already purchased the expansion need only to delete the bugged content so it won’t interfere with the new version and download away – at no extra cost of course. While the situation surely irked many gamers, it’s good to see Bethesda made good on its promise to fix the issue as soon as possible. Check out this post on their official blog in case you need help on deleting the old version.

  1. Halo 3 mythic pack or this...? I'll stay true to Halo 3. =)
