Weekend Open Forum: What's the oldest online account you still use?
I've signed up to many, many websites in my years online. In fact, just checking my password manager I found that I've registered to 89 different websites, even though I only use a handful of those with frequency. That got me thinking it's time to clean up a bit and close some accounts. Also, why not make it this week's Weekend Open Forum topic?
Today we want to know: what's the longest-standing online user account that you still use? I know for a lot of people it'll probably be their email service, but in my case I switched to Gmail in June 2004 and abandoned my old Hotmail address for good.
I can't say with complete certainty, but from the ones I still use semi-regularly it's probably Amazon's (first purchase on record is April, 28 2004). Other accounts that I'm sure predate this but I don't use anymore include MercadoLibre (Latin America's eBay), my university email and a Yahoo account I used for spammy websites. Tell as about yours! Bonus points if you know how many websites you are registered at.

It would be a toss up between my Newegg.com account or Ebay. I think both date back to the late 90's.

My oldest still in use is my Amazon account. Earliest order 2001. I did have a previous account but must have lost the logins as I did order from Amazon in 2000, and maybe 1999 too.
Email addresses have come and go. I've been on Gmail since 2006, which is the longest I've stuck with one.
I used to use newsgroups - but not for 10 years or more since forums have become common.

I've been using AOL since the age of eleven... so I'd say that's my oldest account!

my oldest account would be my first family email account made back when Hotmail was a paid service and you could only have 10 MB of inbox. (around '97 or something like that). but since i dunno the password my oldest account is an account on an auction site which goes back to 2000.

Yahoo! account created 6 June, 2001.
My oldest account was an email account on usa.net, but once they dropped free accounts I switched to Yahoo.

I am still a member of The WELL (www.well.com). I joined in December 1986 and have been there ever since. 26 years now.

This is easy. It's the Yahoo e-mail account I created way back in February of 2000. This would be back when they still offered unlimited free internet access through, of all places, K-Mart. They called it Bluelight free internet. Along with the free access they offered to hook you up with a free e-mail account through Yahoo. It was my first e-mail account and one that I still use everyday.

MSN mail (pre-hotmail) since it was a dialup in 1994.

hotmail only started in July 1996 and purchased by microsoft in 1997.
I still use my hotmail account registered in November 17th, 1997.
